cool pic. Yeah the features look too human for Na'vi. funny you using African tribal peoples as reference. I just started doing this for my own na'vi characters, none of which are posted yet.

I like tha african influence, however that na'vi looks too human, I like it though, especially since I am black, and like Tsu'tey as he looks and talks like africans. and was played by an african american.

I really like this work. I'm not an artist per se but I love art. so my comments might not be as insightful but I appreciate the african features too. so much of this kind is rare these days though i've seen more folks experimenting in this direction. i love the colors but would like to see a bit more detail. just my two little cents..
