First I must say that the "random blue hues" are very effective. Effective enough, that this image caught my eye as I was browsing. Over all the image is wonderful. Incredible use of light, color, and detail. Having sad that, there does seem to be one mechanical/theoretical issue and that is differentiation of subjects relative to physical space. Naturally detail diminishes as the subject recedes into the distance. You have obeyed that throughout until I look at the camera on the left. I understand you are using the focus of detail to create a focal point on the child and therefore things that are closer to the viewer than the child may be out of focus like adjusting aperture on a camera lens but, I feel like the child's shorts and the bottom computer fight for the same visual space. If I ignore what I know about spacial reasoning, I can't tell if the computer is behind or next to the figure. I think either the detail on the computer needs to remain out of focus but the fuzziness needs to be smoother. Or maybe the convergence of the line between the camera lense and the child's back needs to be so that they aren't lined up. Maybe shift the camera a hair to the right to create differentiation between the two subjects. The bottom left corner is the only part that seems confusing if there even is one. Over all this looks amazing.
