This is FANTASTIC! Sometimes when you do a picture like this, I find that the skin if the individual should be a bit more 'blurred. In that way there is a bigger contrast. I hope this helps.........I do it all the time and it works.
I love how the background goes from a bit defined, to just subtle hints that there is so much more to the room than what the illustrator is allowing you to see. The colors in this are so alluring as well. They have this ambiance to them that is both cold and welcoming at the same time.
Wow this is fantastic! I love the painterly feel of the whole piece; how the strokes bring out the possibly mad scientist's crazy white hair and long beard, the scratches on his wrinkled face, and his aging pale hands. I think how you handled color interactions here is terrific. How his face is slightly yellow from the light in the background and how the green glow of the lab in general completely effects his colors. Crazy awesome stuff, I think his eyes are so creepy it's cool
Real nice one~ I ain't got premium membership but here goes for my critique.
Real good lighting in this one, the fading sunlight in the background shows he works inside even by daylight. The scars on his face suggest his experiments backfired on him at some point, really good detail, adds some depth and story to the character. The hand, in my opinion should be more relaxed. Maybe by lifting the pinky and ring fingers off the bottle. Right now it looks a bit forced, not impossible but unnatural. The 3rd, lower right corner bottle, in the foreground pops out more than the others because of the lighting around it. Maybe reducing some of that.
That's just my opinion. Better than what I can do, much better. This game has solid artwork~
